Job description

We are looking for a passionate AI Product Lead/Senior Product Manager to work for our Singapore - based client. For this role, we only process candidates that are based in the Philippines and have legal authorization to work in the Philippines.

Purpose

You will be taking a leadership role in a multi-disciplinary team that will design, build, and deliver a sourcing platform targeting emerging brands and merchants across emerging markets. The ultimate goal is to develop an AI product that supports our customers to meet their daily sourcing needs.

We are looking for someone who is excited to build things from scratch and who has a healthy risk appetite for an early-stage startup coupled with an eagerness to learn, iterate, and grow.

What you'll be doing

  • Understanding business requirements for supply chain management and optimization.
  • Forming vision, roadmap, and goals for the product and taking it further to support our mission to solve the sourcing problem globally.
  • Writing specifications, managing project execution, A/B testing, UI/UX wireframe, and defining product positioning and roll-out strategy.
  • Processing, reviewing and interpreting data on customer usage patterns to uncover new product insights via extensive customer engagement and validation.
  • Supporting the continuous build-up of the Product, Tech, and Design teams and being a core part of the selection process.
  • Working with the other teams in the company (Tech, Design, Operations, and Marketing teams to plan, build and launch high quality product experiences in line with the overall vision of the company.

What you'll need to be successful

  • 5-8 years or more working as a Product Manager, with products that have hit the market and have a good user base and traction, with at least 2+ years of experience in e-commerce and/or marketplace.
  • Experience with supply chain management, sourcing, and e-commerce is a massive advantage.
  • Ability to make data-driven, informed decisions, comfort with extracting and analyzing data to uncover patterns.
  • Deep understanding and empathy for the end user of B2B products, as well as the industry landscape and competing products.
  • Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences including investors and other senior management within our company.
  • A good overall understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Experience working with scrum/agile methodologies and ship incrementally to achieve product vision.
  • Native or fluent in English; fluency in any Asian language is a plus.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment, enjoys thinking out of the box, functions well with ambiguity and likes to find ways (hacks) to make things happen.
