As the APAC Community Manager, you will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with our community across China and other Mandarin-speaking regions. You will be responsible for developing engagement strategies, managing community channels, and driving grassroots adoption of our Web3 products. You will act as the bridge between our users and internal teams, ensuring that feedback and insights from the community are shared effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Community Engagement: Grow, manage, and engage our Mandarin-speaking community across platforms like WeChat, Weibo, Discord, Telegram, and Twitter.
  • Content & Communication: Create and localize community-driven content, announcements, blog posts, and educational materials in Mandarin.
  • Event & Campaign Coordination: Organize and promote online and offline community events, AMAs, and meetups in APAC.
  • User Support & Advocacy: Act as the first point of contact for community questions, fostering a positive and helpful environment.
  • Partnerships & Collaborations: Build relationships with local influencers, KOLs, and blockchain projects to expand our reach in the APAC region.
  • Market Insights & Feedback: Gather and report community feedback, trends, and concerns to the product and marketing teams to improve user experience.
  • Crisis Management: Monitor and address any community issues, ensuring a strong brand reputation in APAC markets.

  • Key Requirements:
  • Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) and English. Additional APAC languages are a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience in community management, social media, or marketing within Web3, crypto, or blockchain industries.
  • Deep understanding of the APAC Web3 landscape, including regulatory considerations, user behavior, and cultural nuances.
  • Experience managing online communities on WeChat, Weibo, Discord, Telegram, Twitter, and Reddit.
  • Strong writing and content creation skills, with the ability to craft engaging and informative posts.
  • Passion for Web3, blockchain, and decentralized technologies.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

  • Preferred Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, or Layer 1/2 blockchain projects.
  • Familiarity with community analytics tools and experience with data-driven community growth strategies.
  • Strong connections with APAC KOLs, influencers, and crypto media platforms.
