On a typical day, you might:
- Lead Performance Improvement: You will work with our network of providers, spearheading projects that utilize the Health Care Payment Learning and Action Network’s (HCP-LAN) Alternative Payment Model Framework (APM). You will be on the front lines of improving how we care for members.
- Direct Impact Through Quality Improvement: You'll be directly involved in initiatives designed to elevate the quality of care and enhance health outcomes, making a tangible difference in the lives of the members we serve.
- Provide Continuous Service Enhancement: You'll work collaboratively with providers, constantly seeking and implementing improvements in service delivery. This continuous improvement mindset will be essential in our journey to provide exceptional care.
- Contribute to Provider Network Development: Your efforts will also contribute to the growth of our provider network, actively recruiting and retaining high-performing providers. Your expertise will be vital to building a robust network dedicated to value-based care.
- Collaborate in Performance Measurement: You’ll partner closely with various departments, including Contracts, Claims, Finance, Information Technology, and Quality Management, to meticulously measure the performance of our provider network. This requires analytical prowess and an understanding of the complexities of healthcare data.
- Lead Projects: You will work hand-in-hand with the Head of Practice Management to develop and implement exciting new value-based purchasing projects, ensuring our initiatives remain cutting edge.

Qualifications:
Required Education/Experience:
Associate’s degree in Human Services, Health Administration, Business Administration, or Public Health Administration field and four (4) years of experience with mental health, substance use, and/or intellectual/developmental disability populations (operations and/or member-facing), or experience in healthcare operations, member-facing or policy experience. Experience with data analysis and use of reporting tools required. Working knowledge of value-based purchasing, value-based care and/or alternative payment model concepts required.
OR
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Health Administration, Business Administration, or Public Health Administration field and two (2) years of experience with mental health, substance use, and/or intellectual/developmental disability populations (operations and/or member-facing), or experience in healthcare operations, member-facing or policy experience. Experience with data analysis and use of reporting tools required. Working knowledge of value-based purchasing, value-based care and/or alternative payment model concepts required.
OR
Equivalent combination of education/experience.
Preferred Education:
A Master’s degree in Health Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s in Public Health Administration (MPH) is preferred.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in a managed care organization / environment or healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of population health management, medical expenses and quality performance analysis preferred.
- Working knowledge of relevant evidence-based and best practices preferred.
- Proficient in standard office software, and project management tools preferred.
- Working knowledge of the Health Care Payment and Learning Action Network (HCP-LAN) and Alternative Payment Models (APM) preferred.
Required License/Certification:
Must have a valid driver’s license
