As the Recruiter and Internship Coordinator you are the face of our company! You are essential to the success of the People+Culture department. You are responsible for sourcing top candidates for open positions, conducting interviews, and building strong relationships with industry professionals to enhance internship opportunities for future candidates. Your innovative thinking and commitment to people and culture will directly impact the development of our associates while supporting our culture. Your Key Areas of Impact
Talent Acquisition: You help Lewer ensure we have the right people in the right seats, which includes recruitment, onboarding, and performance appraisals. You ensure the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent through innovative strategies. You assist Managers with the development of Impact Job Descriptions and are responsible for keeping our Job Descriptions accurate and updated.
Internship Coordination: You use your mix of administrative, interpersonal and communication skills to develop and implement a comprehensive internship program. After advertising, screening and selecting interns you will then monitor, assess their progress and satisfaction and nurture them during their time as an intern. You will work closely with academic advisors, career services, faculty, and employers to develop and promote meaningful internship opportunities.
Workplace Culture: You promote a positive workplace culture that reflects the organization's values, mission, and vision. You partner with other members of the P+C team to drive associate engagement initiatives which create a positive and inclusive work environment. You assist in the implementation of programs that foster associate well-being, work-life balance, and recognition. You support efforts to measure and improve associate satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
Culture Champions Committee: You partner with the Culture Champions Program in support of Lewer culture and leadership development. Culture Champions are responsible for assisting with onboarding and event planning at Lewer.
The Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Travel
Your work is conducted at the Lewer Administrative Offices. Some travel will be required to attend job fairs and meet with colleges to establish internships. Travel for this seat and is expected to be less than 10%.
While this position is not eligible for the work-from-home policy, on rare occasions and with advanced notice to your manager your work may be conducted at a remote location, such as a home office.
You must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time, and be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access filing cabinets, office machinery, etc. You will operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a phone, calculator, copy machine, and computer printer 75% of the time. You will need to be able to lift 25 lbs.
You have a degree from an accredited university in human resources, organizational development, business administration, or a related field. You may have your human resources certification, such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or CEBS, which is a plus. You have spent at least three years of your time honing your skills in human resources disciplines such as talent acquisition, learning and development, and employee engagement. You are proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. You are also proficient with Adobe.
