We are looking for a highly skilled Atlassian Administrator/Engineer to manage and enhance our Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.) while driving automation and leveraging AI to boost efficiency. In this role, you will design workflows, develop custom solutions, automate repetitive tasks, and integrate AI-powered capabilities to optimize team collaboration and productivity.

The ideal candidate is proactive, innovative, and experienced in translating business requirements into scalable, high-performance solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

Platform Administration

• Manage, maintain, and optimize the Atlassian suite to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
• Configure and customize Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian tools to align with organizational needs.
• Administer user roles, permissions, and security settings across the Atlassian ecosystem.

Automation & AI Integration

• Develop and implement workflow automation using Jira Automation, ScriptRunner, or similar tools.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline processes, enhance data analysis, and improve predictive capabilities.
• Build custom scripts and integrations to automate manual tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Integration & Development

• Integrate Atlassian tools with third-party platforms such as Slack, GitHub, Microsoft Teams, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop custom plugins, APIs, and extensions to support business-specific requirements.

Support & Training

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Atlassian tools to enhance performance and usability.
• Train teams on best practices, automation capabilities, and AI-powered features.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated on AI, automation, and project management trends to implement innovative solutions.
• Regularly audit workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Technical Expertise

• Deep knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and other Atlassian tools.
• Strong experience with workflow automation frameworks such as Jira Automation, ScriptRunner, or similar.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning applications in business processes.
• Proficiency in REST APIs, webhooks, and integrating Atlassian tools with enterprise applications.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or Groovy for automation and customization.
• Understanding of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with database management and SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience administering and developing within the Atlassian suite.
• Experience implementing AI-driven solutions in enterprise environments is a plus.
• Atlassian Certified Professional certification is highly desirable.
