Job purpose:

The Senior Graphic Designer will play a pivotal role in supporting the BTL and production teams by conceptualizing and developing impactful visual solutions for activations, stands, and product displays. This includes creating Master & Key Visuals, ensuring their efficient adaptation across multiple formats, and maintaining consistency in branding. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in concept development, 3D rendering, and visual storytelling, translating creative ideas into strategically aligned and visually compelling executions. Proficiency in design software for 3D modeling and rendering (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D, KeyShot, or similar) is essential, along with expertise in branding, material applications, and emerging trends in experiential and graphic design. 

 

Job details: 

  • Location: Remote – Open to candidates based in Nicaragua.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Central America Time Zone).
  • Type: Full-Time Employment.
  • Availability: Immediate availability preferred.
  • Language Proficiency:
    • Spanish: Native speaker.
    • English: Intermediate proficiency (B1+).

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Concept Development: Generate creative ideas and solutions for BTL activations, stands, and product displays, from initial brainstorming to conceptual sketches.
    • Work closely with BTL Lead and Client Manager to understand brand values, campaign goals, and strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with the creative vision.
    • Develop Master & Key Visuals that effectively communicate the brand message and can be efficiently adapted across multiple design formats.
    • Explore design alternatives and refine concepts to optimize functionality, aesthetics, and user experience.
  2. 3D Modeling & Rendering: Create high-quality 3D visualizations to present concepts effectively.
    • Develop 3D models and realistic renderings to showcase design concepts to internal teams, clients, and production partners. 
    • Utilize industry-standard design software for 3D modeling and rendering (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D, KeyShot, SketchUp, or similar). 
    • Ensure that renderings accurately represent materials, lighting, and spatial composition for production feasibility. 
  3. Market Research & Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends to enhance design innovation. 
    • Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior, preferences, and industry benchmarks.
    • Analyze emerging design trends, new materials, and production technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into BTL projects.
    • Stay updated on the latest design tools, software, and best practices in experiential and graphic design. 
  4.  Project Management Support: Ensure design feasibility and alignment with production requirements.
    • Support the BTL Lead and production teams by managing the design workflow from concept to final execution.
    • Handle multiple projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines and maintaining high-quality creative output.
    • Propose cost-effective material alternatives for vendors to optimize budget without compromising quality. 
  5. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Foster seamless communication between design, production, and external partners.
    • Collaborate with vendors and production teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturing alignment.
    • Maintain open and efficient communication with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure smooth execution and problem resolution throughout the design process. 

 

Required Academic Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent experience as a creative director in advertising agencies.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • 6+ years in creative design, preferably in an advertising agency, used to its fast-paced setting and culture, with a strong focus on BTL (Below The Line) marketing, activations, and product displays.
  • Proven expertise in concept development and visual storytelling, with a strong portfolio showcasing impactful Master & Key Visuals for various activations and branding projects.
  • Experience in 3D rendering and modeling, using software such as Blender, Cinema 4D, KeyShot, or similar to create high-quality visualizations of stands, displays, and experiential designs.
  • Knowledge of branding principles, ensuring consistency in visual identity across multiple formats and applications.
  • Proficiency in material applications and production processes, with an understanding of how different materials impact design execution and final output.
  • Adobe Creative Suite Expertise: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects, with strong skills in both layout and visual composition.
  • Digital and Print Proficiency: Extensive experience creating designs for digital and print, with a deep understanding of design principles for each medium.
  • Presentation and Storytelling Abilities: Skilled at developing and pitching ideas with a clear, compelling narrative that connects with both clients and audiences.
  • Collaborative and Team-Oriented: Proven ability to work effectively in team settings, bringing a collaborative spirit and adaptability to fast-paced projects.
  • Client Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and adapt based on client and team feedback.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to layout, alignment, and brand consistency, ensuring polished, professional work.
