We’re looking for a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join our remote team. As a Technical Account Manager with amazee.io you’ll own the post-contract interaction and strategic guidance of amazee.io’s dedicated support customers. You are the primary technical point of contact for the client, meeting regularly with your clients to provide technical and strategic advice and roadmaps, and collaborating with the client services team members to provide an overall seamless client experience.
Your responsibilities in this role are to manage and monitor technical engagements with your clients, be a client advocate, provide reactive support where needed, and to take a constant proactive role in strategically guiding our clients based on their infrastructure and hosting needs today, and tomorrow.
You’ll be key to the long term success of amazee.io, spotting opportunities to further develop your clients’ relationships and engagements with our services, and ensuring we maintain a reputation of being collaborative and trustworthy. Work location: This is a fully remote position, although we do have a requirement for you to be based in a US time zone (UTC -8 to UTC-4)
What you’ll be doing:
- Guiding and building long term, strategic relationships with amazee.io’s customers.
- Supporting the customers in proactively offering strategic, holistic advice and technical solutions, including matters of architecture.
- Delivering and presenting key information and updates to stakeholders. Keeping the client and internal team all informed and pulling in the same direction.
- Helping the client to implement best practices, from automation, devops, security, to development
- Empowering customers to leverage Lagoon and the broader platform to its fullest capacity for them.
- Escalating customer impacting issues to internal teams (e.g. product, support, platform)
- Communicating via gifs and emojis on occasion.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in a role guiding long term client relationships relating to Cloud, Managed Services, PaaS or SaaS solutions.
- Experience working with, or advising on, Drupal CMS solutions
- Comfort discussing technical topics with clients, and turning these discussions into viable solutions
- A collaborative and honest approach to team and client relationships
- Comfort communicating in English
