What will you be doing?

The role is centred around developing our ServiceNow platform to help facilitate our Service Management processes, integrating with other business systems and 3rd party applications where required.

Following direct customer engagement with our key users around the world to understand requirements; you will use your ITIL process and development skills to support, configure and customise the platform. This might cover enhancing end-user experience and service portals, building automations/integrations, deploying to new internal international business units; all whilst leveraging your product knowledge and sticking close to out-of-the-box functionality. 

This role is part of a fast paced agile team located across the UK and France and will suit someone with a thirst for product knowledge and a passion for delivery.

  • Design and implement fit-for-purpose solutions.

  • Develop and adhere to best practices for developing on the platform.

  • Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration.

  • Collaborate effectively across teams, working efficiently to meet delivery dates.

  • Align solution design with business goals.

  • Develop and test solutions.

  • Produce detailed design documentation.

  • Develop documentation to assist users.

  • Manage data transformation and synchronisation between platforms.

  • Integrate ServiceNow with other third-party applications and business systems. Ability to demonstrate ServiceNow modules to prospect customers.

What are we looking for?

  • Practical experience of administering/supporting the ServiceNow platform

  • Experience of configuring and developing with ServiceNow.

  • Experience of web technologies, such as Javascript, HTML or CSS

  • Knowledge of developing integrations with the ServiceNow platform using web services / SOAP / email / plugins

  • Excellent customer service skills including empathy, active listening and patience

  • Experience in a Service Management team/function

  • Performance Analytics development experience, is desirable

  • Developing and solving difficult problems with simple solutions.

  • Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Ability to work as part of a team. Attention to detail

  • Ability to learn quickly either from self research or mentoring

  • Experience or knowledge of Agile working and principles
