Job description

This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Membership & Event Management:
    Track and update company memberships, register for new events, and manage event logistics for exhibitions. Maintain an updated list of events and ensure the team is prepared.
  • Lead Management & Email Correspondence:
    Monitor company email accounts, forward business leads, assist with scheduling meetings, and manage shared calendars.
  • Procurement & Subcontractor Management:
    Complete procurement forms, register as a vendor/subcontractor, and maintain an updated subcontractor list. Assist with proposals and follow-ups.
  • Data Mining & Research:
    Conduct data mining for lead generation, market research, competitor analysis, and maintain CRM systems. Track potential business opportunities, gather market intelligence, and update lead databases.
  • Reporting & Presentation Support:
    Prepare business development presentations, generate reports on lead generation and event participation, and assist with email campaign creation.
  • Follow-Up & Campaign Management:
    Track event attendees, manage follow-up actions, and support the creation of targeted email campaigns. Attend webinars and pre-proposal meetings, providing key insights and follow-ups.
  • Data Maintenance & Task Tracking:
    Maintain and update key lists (e.g., memberships, meetings, LinkedIn connections, events, subcontractors, attendees) and track internal tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Additional Support:
    Assist with administrative tasks, document organization, meeting scheduling, and client materials. Provide insights in team meetings regarding lead generation and data analysis.


Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, social media management, or similar roles. Experience with data mining, event coordination, and market research is preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Sheets.
    • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce) for managing leads, contacts, and opportunities.
    • Strong skills in data mining, including the use of various online platforms (LinkedIn, business directories, Google searches) to extract relevant lead data.
    • Familiarity with email marketing tools (Zoho Campaigns, Mailchimp, etc.) and social media management platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
