We are actively seeking a VP, Global Product Marketing This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the U.S.

Position Summary

Rimini Street is seeking a proven, high performing product marketing executive to lead Rimini Street’s global product marketing and product strategy efforts. As the VP, Global Product Marketing, and a member of the global marketing leadership team, you will be responsible for leading development and execution for global go-to-market strategies for all Rimini Street services.  In this role you will lead an experienced product marketing and strategy team that is responsible for all aspects of Rimini Street services, Support, Optimize and Transform offerings, and products supported, including Oracle, SAP, VMware, SaaS, Interoperability, and our professional services. You will drive the overall go-to-market strategy, messaging, positioning, competitive differentiation and enablement of our sales, client and marketing teams. You will also play a vital role in the development and delivery of our thought leadership and vision for Cloud and related strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the development global product marketing strategy, including definition and prioritization of target segments, positioning, messaging and related go-to-market approach.
  • Design, execute, and deliver on a unified go-to-market and communication strategy, collateral and tools repository, and cross-sell demand generation programs.
  • Enable success of global retention, sales and client engagement teams via assets, tools and collateral resulting in deliverable such as positioning statements, key messages, real-world proof points/metrics/client quotes, competitive rollups, web page content, blogs/posts/tweets, client success stories, e-books/white papers and training sessions.
  • Identify and monitor industry trends and market opportunities and guide product strategy to evaluate and support justification to pursue these opportunities.
  • Lead development of pipeline of client advocates that yields strong mix of client endorsements and stories for use in client and prospect marketing activities.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred

Experience

Top candidates will be proven marketing industry executives with progressive experience in leading global enterprise technology product marketing teams to define and achieve success. Qualified candidates will possess:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience leading teams at the VP level with demonstrated success in B2B product marketing space with an emphasis on enterprise software and related technologies and services, including Cloud, professional services and security.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to effectively deliver speeches and presentations in all settings, large and small.
  • Positive, problem solving mindset and a passion for high quality outcomes - Strength in working with varied groups including executive management, delivery, sales and marketing teams
  • Quick learner and must be able to respond to a variety of sales and marketing inquiries with tight deadlines
  • Ability to easily interact with a demanding group of executive, sales and marketing team members, appropriately juggling requests from multiple individuals
  • Demonstrate high level of energy/self-starter

Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in developing client Go-To-Market strategies (solution and services definition, packaging, pricing and positioning) for leading technology, services or software companies is required
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to represent marketing plans and strategic priorities to senior executives, sales, clients, prospects, analysts and press
  • Excellent leadership and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work across the entire organization with senior leaders to build consensus on industry marketing priorities is a must
  • Must be able to develop and sustain relationships with key influencer's, clients and analysts
  • Thought leadership skills
  • Ability to demonstrate new points of views to the business and industry and set the intellectual direction for vertical marketing activities

Compensation is based on role, location, and level of applicable experience. 

Rimini’s target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant’s Interview process.

The general salary range for this type of role is 237k - 297k depending on skills and experience.
