Summary of Job Duties:
The IT Service Delivery Technology Manager oversees the IT Asset Team supporting a 14,000-customer environment. This role collaborates with UAMS leadership and vendors to plan, procure, deploy, and repurpose IT assets.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master Degree in Information Technology, Business or related field of study with 4 yrs. in an IT , business, asset manager, retail environment, or related business, including 2 yrs. in a leadership/supervisory role or combination -OR-
- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Business or related field of study with 6 yrs. in an IT , business, asset manager, retail environment, or related business, including 2 yrs. in a leadership/supervisory role or combination -OR-
- Associate Degree in Information Technology, Business or related field of study with 8 yrs. in an IT , business, asset manager, retail environment, or related business, including 2 yrs. in a leadership/supervisory role or combination -OR-
- High School/GED with 10 yrs. in an IT , business, asset manager, retail environment, or related business, including 2 yrs. in a leadership/supervisory role or combination.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite: SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must complete UAMS Leadership training within two years of promotion or hire date unless UAMS does not offer courses within this timeframe.

Additional Information:
- Key responsibilities include lifecycle management, asset standardization (hardware and software), and reducing costs and support complexity.
- The position also implements and maintains processes for tracking IT assets, managing records, licenses, warranties, and service agreements.
- Utilizing project management methodologies, the manager prepares status reports and ensures alignment with UAMS's mission and goals.
- This position works closely with the Workstation Support Manager and reports to the Director of IT Service Delivery.
