Job description

Graphite is a technology-enabled growth agency that helps fast-growing companies like Masterclass, Notion, and Webflow unlock sustainable revenue through content and SEO.

We’re obsessed with impact— it’s foundational to our core, why we’re successful, and how we approach delivering outcomes for clients and, ultimately, everyone on the internet.

As a result, we are actively seeking a motivated People Operations Analyst with a solid academic foundation in Business Administration or a STEM-related field. This role calls for a resourceful, driven, and creative individual who can contribute significantly to the success of our Operations team.

If you’re passionate about learning and constantly developing new skills, thrive in taking full ownership of your projects, and excel in a performance-driven environment while fostering teamwork and collaboration, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

This is a full-time, fully remote work opportunity.

What you’ll do:

  • Analyze people operations data to identify trends and impact of people initiatives, providing actionable insights to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, including sending welcome emails, coordinating manager introductions, and the buddy sessions

  • Generate quotes for new hire equipment and coordinate relocation logistics in collaboration with IT

  • Ensure all new hire documentation is appropriately collected, stored, and processed

  • Plan and coordinate milestone celebrations, including gifts for weddings, new babies, and anniversary messages

  • Organize bonding activities and off-site events, including logistics

  • Analyze, track, and oversee paid time off approvals, ensuring updates are shared with key stakeholders

  • Contribute to the development and documentation of HR policies and procedures.

  • Assist with the ideation, logistics, and documentation of special projects, such as L&D and people initiatives.

What expertise you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or any STEM-related field

  • 2+ years in people operations or employee engagement roles

  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures

  • Experience with HR tools, G-Suite, and Office 365

  • Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets

  • Experience in managing and utilizing Slack, Notion, or similar project management and communication platforms

  • Ability to consistently carry out manual and administrative tasks with accuracy and efficiency with attention to detail

  • Enthusiasm for aiding a geographically distributed team

  • Previous experience with low-level project management, planning, and equipment logistics is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

  • Ability to collaborate across departments and work in a fast-paced environment

How we’ll help:

Graphite’s mission is to create an environment where you build the best work of your career. To facilitate this, we provide:

  • Process As Needed - We view the process as a way to empower better work, not as a series of dogmatic rules. We develop the best internal processes as we do products - through iteration, measurement, and continuous improvement

  • Autonomy - We trust you to be excellent at what you do. We will provide as much support as needed when needed, but no more. You will have autonomy and agency to drive projects forward, and own decisions and outcomes

  • Flexible Work Environment - Flexible Work Environment - Everyone’s optimal work style is unique. We operate as a distributed team across the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Europe. We optimize for productivity and performance, not time spent in an office. Help us build an optimal work environment that fits you as an individual

  • Compensation - We want to work with the best people in the World and compensate accordingly

  • Vacation & Time Off - To be the best version of yourself, you need time to recharge. We offer flexible PTO. Take time when you need it

  • Benefits - We will ensure you have quality healthcare coverage and opportunities to further your education
