AdTech Support Specialist - (Remote, US)

Become a key player on our fast-paced AdTech team as an AdTech Support Specialist! Reporting directly to the Sr. Manager of AdTech Engineering, you’ll support our expanding base of Content Companies and CTV App owners by managing tier 2 customer support requests, configuring and debugging ad servers, and using SQL and data analysis tools to interpret and deliver valuable insights to internal and external stakeholders. This role is perfect for a proactive problem-solver ready to make a tangible impact, expand their expertise in Ad Operations and Engineering, and work with AI-driven data tools.

 

What You'll Do

  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 technical issues related to ad delivery, ad performance, and integrations with Content Companies and Streamers.
  • Collaborate daily with internal teams (AdTech Engineering, Sales and Business Operations) to drive technical issue resolution
  • Communicate in a professional, timely and efficient manner with external partners as the technical point of contact.
  • Provide hands-on support in configuring and troubleshooting Wurl ad servers. Validating VAST tags, and ensuring SCTE-35 signal compliance.
  • Maintain and support the integration of supply and demand connections across the platform, utilizing tools like SpringServe and Snowflake to monitor and optimize ad delivery performance.
  • Manage Zendesk process for resolving support tickets efficiently, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Develop and document best practices, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge base articles to streamline Tier 2 support efforts.     



Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in ad operations or technical support within the digital advertising ecosystem, preferably in a programmatic environment.
  • Hands-on experience with ad servers and troubleshooting VAST, SCTE-35, and RTB protocols.
  • Familiarity with SSP and DSP platforms and their technical workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to perform SQL queries or basic scripting for data analysis or troubleshooting is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Wurl provides a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this [CA based or North America based] position is $58,000 - $88,000. Base compensation at Wurl is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits.
