We're seeking a Power BI/Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. As a leader in providing Sage ERP solutions we're committed to providing data-driven insights to meet our clients requirements. Our ideal candidate will have experience in Power BI, SQL Server, and Sage 200 (or Similar ERP Solutions).
Job Summary
As a Reporting Analyst, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing data visualization solutions using Microsoft Power BI, leveraging SQL Server as the primary data source and reporting from Sage 200. You'll work closely with the existing team to identify business needs, develop data models, and create interactive dashboards that provide clients with the insights they need. The existing team will also provide the support and guidance that you need in your development.
As Sage 200 is primarily a SQL based platform, our main focus Is on SQL side development rather than data transformation within PowerBI. Therefore SQL server skills would be an advantage.
The role will suit someone from a Sage background who wants to focus on reporting and analytics or someone with a reporting background who wants to apply their skills to a new ERP suite.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements
- Write efficient SQL queries to extract and transform data from SQL Server
- Integrate Power BI with Sage 200 to provide real-time insights and reporting
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Power BI development and deployment
- Create reports using the tools provided by Sage (Report designer, API, etc)
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in Power BI development, data analysis, or a related field
- SQL Server skills, including query writing
- Experience with Sage 200, including data interrogation and reporting
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Excellent communicator with a strong work ethic
