Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper
Location: Remote (CST Time zone)
Salary Range: up to 2500 USD

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper with multi-client experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage financial operations for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes in a team environment. This role requires a proactive and organized individual who can work independently while collaborating with a US-based team.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, including transaction categorization and account reconciliations as part of a team environment.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes using platforms like QuickBooks Online and Bill.com.
Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in a team setting.
Process payroll using Gusto or similar platforms.
File sales and excise tax reports accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with client-specific financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

3+ years of bookkeeping experience in a multi-client environment.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, and Gusto.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Humility and openness to coaching and critiques; always seeking to improve
Keen attention to detail and obsession with making sure there is accuracy, integrity, and dependability in their work
Joy and a positive attitude in all communications internally and externally
Persistence and an ability to politely remind others to stay on track
Excellence in following and optimizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience completing month-end close processes independently.
Advanced knowledge of financial tools or certifications in bookkeeping.
