Summary: Inbound Transportation is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, Data Entry
Specialist
The Responsibilities You Will Have in this Role
  • Responsible for the data entry of routing requests from our vendor booking system into our Order Management System (OMS).
  • Organizing routing requests and sending to carrier partners for shipment assignments.
  • Managing new user account setup in our vendor booking system.
  • Maintaining an organized file of shipment data to ensure entries are complete and accurate.
  • Adhering to data management best practices and maintaining a high standard of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Working closely with transportation planning analysts to support the flow of goods from our domestic vendors.

The Skills that will Make You Successful
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of experience working as a data entry specialist.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to spot errors with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships; you will collaborate with many of our external strategic partners: vendors and carriers.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent typing skills and experience working with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, etc.
