Retail Business Development Administration Support - Summer Student (2025)

Empire Life is seeking students with a passion for Insurance to join our Retail Business Development Team!

What you’ll be working on

Various duties, dependent upon the position and department such as:

  • Contribute to the team by executing administrative tasks

  • Data entry, e.g. searching data sets, date changes

  • Collaborate with other team members to provide seamless service and support

  • Assist in the execution of various campaigns, contributing to the team’s engagement efforts.

  • Organize and clean up internal records, helping to maintain the integrity and reliability of our data systems

  • Take on evolving tasks and challenges as they arise, adapting to the team’s needs and gaining experience in a fast-paced environment.

What we’re looking for
  • You’re currently pursuing your education in a relevant field, and are ready for hands-on experience. 

  • You have previous experience or a strong interest in the insurance industry.

  • You enjoy working with others. You’re a proud member of your community, and an active member of your favorite club, organization, or team.

  • You're detail oriented. You enjoy being thorough, accurate, and organized with your work.

  • You are an active listener, excellent communicator and are able to learn quickly and pivot to new ideas when necessary. 

  • Bilingualism (English/French), is considered an asset.
