SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

  

The Medicare Product Development Manager is responsible for supporting the Growth teams in all aspects of the product lifecycle, from strategy to execution. Strategies include market and segment analysis, product definition, and competitive assessment. Duties include researching CMS innovation center to determine allowable benefits, assisting in creating a competitive analysis, managing and filing benefit design and bid requirements, executing in benefit design vision, and working closely with sales, marketing, and operations to ensure benefit design and membership goals are met.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and execute roadmap for annual product life cycle management including CMS application filings, bid pricing development, PBP filings.
  • Support product strategy to drive competitive products and services that support growth.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally in the development of high-level business requirements to support implementation of approved product strategies, inclusive of benefit design.
  • Competitive assessment and market intelligence - Conducts industry and competitive analysis, assesses market trends and industry innovations to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve competitive positioning.
  • Benefit design (evaluation, pricing, vetting)/subject matter expert.
  • Responsible for the management of the benefits, operations, communication, reporting, and data exchange of Zing products in support of strategic and corporate business objectives. Includes: Member and marketing material development, product training, annual benefit year implementation.
  • Responsible for staying up to date with the federal and state regulations as it relates to opportunities and applicable projects.


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an appropriate discipline preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Medicare Managed Care, preferably at a Health Plan, in a compliance/regulatory/legal/product/operations/marketing or project management role.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience managing complex projects, including complex product development processes.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing workplans & holding stakeholders accountable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously and meet compliance timelines.
  • Experience with managing projects and partnering with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills as demonstrated by significant ability to pull data, analyze complex data sets, and present in consumable reports/presentations to management.
Salary Description
$90,000 to $115,000
