Job description

About the role

This role is responsible for liaising directly with Regional Branches and Agents to obtain relevant information that is required for weekly and monthly reporting on business operations. It will also involve weekly DIFOT reporting for each Branch or Agent along with support for new agent establishment and set up.

As a member of the WA Regional Team, this role is critical to ensure proactive, high level of customer service and will focus on ensuring customer requirements are met in a timely manner.

What You`ll do

· Liaise with customers regarding outstanding queries and escalate where required.

· Ensure prompt response to customer enquiries (telephone and email), follow up, resolve, and escalate when necessary.

· Provide both internal and external customers with a high level of customer service.

· Liaise with Customers and Subcontractors.

· Create, maintain, and distribute various customer and operations KPIs.

· Process project work revenue and ensure profitability.

· Ensure that data entry into TGE Systems is in line with regional procedures, is accurate and completed daily.

· Create and manage connotes, operational spreadsheets and cross-referencing manifests.

What You’ll Bring

  • Demonstrated experience in a support role within a transport or logistics environment.

  • Practical experience in a customer service/operational environment with the ability to develop further.

  • Good geographical knowledge of regional WA

  • Understanding of accruals, and internal costs/allowances and knowledge and application of charging and billing systems and processes.

  • Understanding of Chain of Responsibility.

  • Good problem solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Effective time management and self-discipline.

  • Confident decision-making skills.

  • Experience with PC packages Office/Excel- intermediate to advanced.

  • Ability to multitask while meeting conflicting deadlines.
