Job Description

Join our team as a Senior Actuary, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our strategy. Your expertise in actuarial science and analytics will be crucial in executing all necessary actuarial functions.
As a senior member of our team, you'll collaborate closely with company stakeholders and other actuarial departments to drive our objectives forward. You'll also work hand-in-hand with fellow team members to achieve shared goals.

  • Actively contributes to the success of the Actuarial Services team

  • Evaluates moderately complex pharmacy trend analysis.

  • Reviews and observe appropriateness of actuarial formulae.

  • Performs actuarial research, experience studies, and statistical analyses and calculations

  • Distributes established reports and responds to inquiries.  Investigates trends and anomalies.

  • Participates in requirements gathering for and serves as delegate or backup for corporate projects.  Generates ideas and analytical approaches for Departmental projects. 

  • Provides support to senior actuaries as required.

  • Plans, implements, manages and/or contributes to projects that are moderate/high complexity.

  • Is a participant in good standing in the Actuarial Development Program

Hiring Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)

  • 4+ years of experience in relevant actuarial experience. Related experience may be considered.

  • Must have completed 5 or more exams towards the eventual attainment of the ASA designation.

  • In lieu of meeting minimum exam requirements, may consider additional relevant experience.

  • In lieu of meeting minimum experience requirement, may consider ASA or more exams towards the eventual attainment of ASA.

Nice to haves

  • Experience with Pharmacy Analytics is strongly preferred

  • Advanced skills in SQL

  • Advanced Analytical Problem-Solving Skills

  • Strong Communication Skills

Salary Range
