Job description

Purpose Statement

sa.global is looking for a driven and talented Lead D365 Business Central (BC) Functional Consultant to join our dynamic Professional Services Vertical. As a Lead D365 BC Functional Consultant, you take a consultative approach to implement and deliver D365 BC products and services to our clients. Alongside implementing Business Central, you will also assist in the product direction of sa.global’s evergreen solution, which integrates with Project Operations.

Position Overview

The Lead D365 BC Functional Consultant will report directly to the Industry Practice Manager.

The location for this role is the United Kingdom. Normal working hours apply to this role (9am-5:30pm UK time), however, there may be times where you need to work outside of our usual working hours.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Hands-on implementation, consulting, and deployment of D365 Business Central
  • Drive evergreen implementations and product enhancement, development testing, and other items associated with implementation of our service centric solutions, evergreen and empower, along with possible Project Operations assistance/guidance
  • Provide presales support as needed
  • Participate in pre-sales activities as needed, involved in business development such as project diagnostics, proposal development, and sales calls
  • Assist Managed Services as needed
  • Provide onsite and offsite consulting services
  • Proactively identify, analyze, and respond to issues and risks
  • Foster teamwork, mentor, and train consultants on best practices, project methodology, and professional client service
  • Suggest areas of improvement in methodology and internal processes along with potential solutions
  • End to end management co-ordination of the project and responsible for the successful completion of the project within a stipulated budget
  • Ensure technical aspects of projects meet required standards for functionality, operability, and documentation
  • Ongoing commitment to continuous professional development; completing relevant certifications in a timely manner when necessary
  • Always represent the business professionally and positively

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in D365 Business Central software implementations
  • Strong understanding of industry-standard business practices supported by D365 Business Central
  • Experience implementing large complex technology projects
  • Business Intelligence understanding including Reporting and Analytics
  • Possess a deep understanding of software implementation lifecycles, development methodologies, operating systems, technical platforms/architecture, and application server
  • Confident with providing support and training to users
  • Attention to detail and a keen desire to deliver the highest quality solutions to customers
  • Complex problem solver with creative solutions
  • Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities
  • Enjoys being client-facing and can think clearly and calmly under pressure
  • Places emphasis on client satisfaction
  • Dynamics GP (Great Plains) experience and/or Project Operations experience is advantageous

Travel

UK Travel including some overnight stays to be expected.
