Job description

Position: Creative Director

Reports To: Vice President, Marketing

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Work with VP of Marketing, VP Strategic Communications, and CMO on Soles4Souls brand and branding guidelines.

• Year over year assessment of brand to expand upon overall look and areas of improvement (i.e. photography, consistency in assets, areas of creative growth)

• Develop and plan creative concepts for cross-functional marketing campaigns

• Lead the creative team/direct reports, building and reviewing work of the team in the production of all web, print, and digital marketing collateral

• Collaborate with the Content Producer to ensure consistency in visual content across the board, integrating photo/video assets into broader creative campaigns.

• Collaborating with all departments (Business Development, Travel, Outreach, Communications, etc.) in creating marketing plans, analyzing results, and identifying opportunities

• Develop creative marketing assets, reports, promotional materials, presentations and signage

• Work hand-in-hand with the full marketing team to ensure that the S4S website is up to date, delivers effective user experience and is visually interesting

• Assist in developing and managing marketing team quarterly/annual priorities

• Brainstorm and strategize new concepts around opportunities for fundraising, events & campaigns, new materials, or presenting information to supporters and donors

• Manage relationships, projects, campaigns with brand partners and team

• Manage organization’s creative assets

Qualifications and desired skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in design or artistic field

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a relevant position with supervisory role

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to work quickly, efficiently and on deadlines

• Comfort interacting with internal team (aka our “clients”) and outside vendors

• A strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts

• An intimate understanding of design, copy and web best practices/guidelines

• Valid driver’s license

Physical Demands:

• Hearing: Hear and communicate effectively in person and over the phone.

• Manual Dexterity: Use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls.

• Repetitive Motion: Perform repetitive tasks, such as data entry, for extended periods of time.

• Work Environment: Be able to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, and be exposed to varying weather conditions if applicable.
