What You Will Achieve

This role will serve as a central technical project manager for lead and execute on complex T4-T6 strategic initiatives for example digital road map;  development and maintenance business system /solutions for example iTT business system and windchill system ; Drive CI implementation, simplify business process for ES-MDCP organization. The project manager will execute across the following:

  • Lead and execute strategic initiative for example E2E digital road map for ES-MDCP group  
  • Lead development and maintenance of business system or solutions for ES MDCP for example Project and Portfolio Management Office business systems (iTT business system) and business solution systems for medical device component
  • Drive CI implementation, and continuously improves standard project tools such schedules, budgets, and resource estimates and prioritization for various project types.
  • Work in close collaboration with partner lines in GTE, GCMC, Operations, Commercial, Finance, Global Business Solutions and across PGS
  • Lead product Knowledge management for ES MDCP

How You Will Achieve It

Project Organization

  • PM will ensure effective preparation of projects including Team management: establish clear RACI (responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) matrix to align all team members with the project’s goals and methods.

  • Standard business process: implement standardized governance, process and terminology across different functions and projects to ensure consistency and clarify

  • Risk analysis – conduct E2E risk assessment by engaging all workstreams to identify potential risks and establish migration plans 

  • Work in close collaboration with partner lines in GTE, GCMC, Operations, Commercial, Finance, Global Business Solutions

  • Detailed E2E road map: develop a detailed road map for TT project and portfolio (iTT business system) and MDCP life cycle management that outline the key activities and key KPIs for tracking

Technical responsibility

  • Has advanced knowledge/understanding of the principle and concepts of Tech Transfers, medical device, and or business systems / tools development
  • Development and maintain of business systems (for example resource forecasting and prioritization) which includes obtaining requirements, development, testing, troubleshooting, presenting, and training colleagues on these systems.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve, automate, simplify and streamline manual processes for business system
  • Improve existing Business Processes in PGS using DMAIC and Agile methodologies.

Interpersonal effectiveness

  • Leverages and engages with multiple communication platforms and techniques to ensure stakeholders understand business priorities. This includes driving awareness of issues across multiple layers of T3/T4/T5 stakeholders. Ensuring an open effective communication environment for internal and external partner stakeholders that include GTEL Leaders, ES, PGS site, quality, Regulatory ect
  • Create and delivers portfolio dashboards stakeholders from T2- T6.
  • coach colleagues to develop their system tool capabilities and a better understanding of business systems

 Mindset and approach

  • The position receives minimum supervision and is expected to act independently, with leadership qualities of keeping the team on track and aligned, and enough self-awareness to request help and support when needed.
  • Implement Agile philosophies to effectively and quickly develop systems and bring these systems onboard in order to gain the full benefit of system optimization. · Knows when to report or escalate risks and issues to leadership and provides alternative approaches/solutions to mitigate these risks/issues and leads towards issue resolution

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • Bachelors with minimum of 6+ years in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Pharmaceutical preferred) or Life Sciences Experience, or MS degree with 5+ years.
  • Excellent communication and attention to details
  • Demonstrated ability to be lead strategic projects with large multi-discipline teams
  • Excellent technical writing skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Background in pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiative
  • Experience working with various Business systems and tool example Office 365 tools (SharePoint Lists, Power Automate, Power BI,
  • Excel, PowerPoint and Word), Tableau Dashboards, DOC (digital operation center)
  • Experience in project management
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • Certified PMP is a plus

Work Location Assignment: Hybrid

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,800.00 to $201,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
