Job Description

We are seeking a high-performing Senior Account Executive for the Danish market, to join our Enterprise team. As a key member of Zendesk’s Enterprise sales team driving a solution/value based sales approach, your role will focus primarily on new logo acquisition and large deal pursuit across multiple verticals in Zendesk’s top tier of accounts.
You will provide sales leadership and creative direction for our key customers. This is a chance to build the Platform experience at Zendesk! As a Senior Account Executive, you love hunting for new opportunities and are able to close new accounts while maintaining existing customer relationships.
You have a passion overall for building and maintaining strategic executive relationships, developing and managing large opportunities, and leading a team of extended resources within Zendesk, focused on success.You are a creative, out of the box thinker, able to articulate Zendesk’s platform vision.
You can sell at the most strategic level and form a broad strategy for winning customer buy-in and implementation. You’re also fun and enjoy being part of a team who sells and wins together!

Responsibilities
  • Pursue a “hunter strategy” focused on land, growth and retention for accounts >Six/Seven Figure ARR.
  • Execute an account based sales strategy in Zendesk’s top tier of targeted logos (5000 + employee companies), with a three-pronged pipeline generation strategy: leveraging the XDR and partner teams, while also driving your own pipeline.
  • Drive large deals through focus on large accounts, land/expand multi-million/multi-year TCV deals and developing deeper executive relationships.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting with emphasis on new logo targeting plus long term sales outlook.
  • Consistently deliver an articulated value proposition for Zendesk as the vendor of choice in the Enterprise.
  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue goals on a quarterly basis.
  • Continually build a pipeline of new business, up-sell, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Become an expert on Zendesk’s products and conduct discovery calls, presentations, and demos with prospects and customers.
  • Demonstrate and sell value to key strategic stakeholders within the accounts during fast moving as well as complex sales cycles.
  • Track all opportunity and customer details including use case, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce.
Requirements
  • 6- 8+ years software selling experience; SaaS experience required
  • Business fluency in Danish.
  • Successful record acquiring direct new business sales, experienced in selling large strategic deals into the Danish Enterprise account market (5000+ employee companies).
  • Experience building strategic relationships and selling to VP/C level leaders
  • Effective account strategy and outbound prospecting experience important
  • Consistent track record of success vs quota
  • Technically savvy; thorough understanding of a related technology
  • Proficiency using Salesforce is desirable.
  • Skilled in virtual presentations, online web demos, remote sales processes
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
