Accountant | Tax

Job Description:

• Records timely the Company’s transactions in accounting books and generation of monthly financial statements.
• Ensures monthly reconciliation of accounts and updates of accounting schedules.
• Ensures timely filing and payment of all corporate monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns and supporting schedules and alphalists/reliefs
• Ensures compliance to BIR’s tax mapping requirements.
• Handles tax queries from clients, suppliers, and Management regarding tax treatments.
• Assists in handling BIR examinations and other special projects.
• Coordinates renewal of business permits to liaison in charge and monitors real property taxes.
• Coordinates with Corporate Secretary and Company lawyers for legal compliances if needed.
• Coordinates with External Auditor during annual audit of financial statements.
• Additional dues as directed by Accounting Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
• Consultancy basis minimum of 6 months consultancy contract (subject for renewal)
• CPA license or having any certifications relevant to the job is an advantage.
• At least 2 (two) years of working experience in the related field or position.
• Knowledgeable in government compliances with the BIR, SSS, PHIC, HDMF and LGUs, and good written and oral communication skills, proficient in MS Excel and attentive to details.
• Experience in QuickBooks accounting system or any accounting software is a plus.
• Team-player and can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Deadline oriented.
• Remote working arrangement.
• Can start immediately.
