Guardian Recovery is a nationwide leader in behavioral healthcare, providing substance use disorder and mental health treatment for adults and adolescents. We currently treat about 600 patients per month at our nationwide facilities and field between 4,000 and 5,000 new patient contacts monthly.

We are seeking a skilled Email and SMS Marketing Specialist to join our team at Guardian Recovery. This role focuses on creating and managing email, SMS, and digital follow-up campaigns to engage potential clients, maintain connections with our alumni community, and foster B2B referral relationships. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, and experience with various digital marketing tools and strategies.

This position plays a crucial role in our patient acquisition and retention strategies, requiring a blend of technical expertise, creative thinking, and a deep understanding of our target audience's needs and challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in email and SMS marketing, preferably in healthcare or behavioral health
• Expert knowledge of Salesforce CRM and email marketing platforms (MailChimp, Constant Contact)
• Proficiency in marketing automation and analytics tools
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in addiction treatment or mental health services marketing
• Certifications in Salesforce, email marketing, or digital marketing
• Knowledge of behavioral health patient journey and treatment processes

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic email and SMS marketing plans aligned with organizational goals
• Create and manage targeted contact lists for various audience segments
• Design and implement multi-touch drip campaigns and remarketing strategies
• Collaborate with the alumni director to create engagement campaigns for the recovery community
• Write compelling email and SMS copy tailored to different audience segments
• Coordinate with in-house creative teams to develop visually appealing campaign assets
• Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and regulatory compliance standards
• Manage email marketing platforms (MailChimp, Constant Contact) and SMS marketing tools
• Implement and manage marketing automation workflows using Zapier and other middleware
• Maintain data integrity across all marketing systems
• Set up and monitor KPIs for all email and SMS campaigns
• Conduct A/B testing to optimize open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
• Analyze campaign performance data and provide regular reports to leadership
• Implement data-driven improvements to enhance campaign effectiveness
• Develop and manage a comprehensive alumni communication strategy
• Create targeted campaigns to support ongoing recovery and prevent relapse
• Identify at-risk alumni through engagement metrics and facilitate readmission when necessary
• Develop and maintain a database of B2B referral contacts
• Create and execute targeted campaigns to increase referrals from healthcare providers and other relevant businesses
• Track and report on B2B referral program performance
• Ensure all marketing activities comply with HIPAA and other relevant healthcare regulations
• Stay updated on email and SMS marketing best practices and industry trends
• Implement measures to maintain list hygiene and manage opt-ins/opt-outs
• Work closely with the admissions team to align marketing efforts with admission goals
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure accurate representation of treatment programs in marketing materials
• Coordinate with IT department for technical support and system integrations

Additional Information: The successful candidate will have access to in-house graphic design, web development, paid media, and copywriting departments to support campaign creation and execution.

Pay: $70,000 - $95,000 annuallly

Schedule: Full Time

Location: Onsite, Delray Beach, FL possibility for remote capabilities
