The Director of Educational Partnerships resides in the Educational Partnerships team and oversees the strategic direction and implementation of educational programs developed through third-party collaborations. This senior leadership role requires a blend of strategic planning, partnership management, and deep instructional design knowledge to ensure that educational offerings align with and support the organization’s goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Instructional Design Oversight:
    • Guide the instructional design framework used by external partners to ensure it meets organizational learning objectives and pedagogical standards.
    • Collaborate with educational partners to develop course structures that are innovative, engaging, and effective for varied learning styles.
  • Curriculum Development Leadership:
    • Lead the assessment and strategic planning of curriculum offerings, ensuring they align with industry trends and organizational needs.
    • Oversee the curriculum development process, ensuring that content creation by third-party providers adheres to best practices in instructional design and learner engagement.
  • Partnership Development and Management:
    • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with a portfolio of educational institutions and content providers.
    • Establish clear performance metrics and accountability measures for educational partners.
  • Cross-functional Team Leadership:
    • Work closely with internal teams to integrate educational technologies and methodologies.
    • Ensure the transfer of instructional design knowledge and practices within the team to foster continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Performance and Impact Evaluation:
    • Implement robust mechanisms to measure the effectiveness and impact of educational initiatives, adapting strategies in response to data and feedback.
    • Report on the strategic impact of educational partnerships to the executive team and board members.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

What Is a Must Have

  • Advanced degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in high-level partnership management and strategic decision-making in a corporate or educational setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in instructional design, with a proven track record of successful curriculum development and educational program implementation.
  • Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to spearhead multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Deep understanding of the latest trends in e-learning and educational methodologies.

Compensation: The salary range is $145,600 - $187,200 This position is eligible for bonus incentive compensation up to 25% of base salary.
