Job Description:

JSL Technologies, Inc. is seeking a candidate for our Environmental Information Management System (EIMS) System Administrator position.  This is a Hybrid/Remote position however the candidate will need to access a SIPRNET lab at USFF in Norfolk 4 to 6 times a month for about 1-2 hours each time. The job responsibilities include:

• Manage and maintain currently supported and subsequent Microsoft Server Operating Systems on physical and virtual operating environments
•  Monthly/Quarterly system reports
• Maintain hardware inventory
• Support the ATO (Authority to Operate) process and RMF (Risk Management Framework) process for multiple ATOs and ASRs.
• Review ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution) and SCAP (Security Content Automation Protocol) scans and perform mitigations as part of achieving system certi?cation and accreditation
•  Designing and maintaining network diagrams
• Creating and managing POA&Ms
• Maintaining and implemented ports, protocols, and services management (PPSM) changes.
• Making boundary change requests.
• Applying security measures to be compliant with NIST SP 800-171
• Documenting SOP’s or other security artifacts
• Applying any applicable STIG’s and creating STIG checklists
• Performing local testing of controls and submitting results to packages in eMass.
•  Assist in troubleshooting user issues reported through feedback.
• Manage AWS GovCloud services and AppStream 

Required Qualifications:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance level Secret
• Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
• Must possess or be able to obtain a Security+ Certification
• Bachelor’s Degree in an IT-related field with at least 5 concurrent years of relevant experience or professional system administration certificate with at least 10 concurrent years of relevant experience
• Experience with maintaining AWS EC2 hosts, and related Virtual Machines
• Experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Windows 10 and 11, Servers 2019+, domain controllers, AD, DNS, sub domaining
• Experience with Windows Server tools and technologies including certificate management and Group Policies
• Experience maintaining a secure production environment
• Understanding of troubleshooting and resolving system issues on Windows operating systems (desktop and server).
• Understand multiple systems and areas of functionality in a dynamic environment
• Desire and ability to own problems and solve them
• Team player with excellent communication skills and positive attitude
• Ability to manage assignments independently
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Flexible, versatile, and adaptable to day-to-day activities

 Desired Qualifications:

• Experience supporting an ATO process, eMASS and the full RMF process
• Experience with AppStream
• Experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure service providers
• Experience with Security Tools like Tenable Nessus, Tenable Web Application Scanner, SCAP Compliance Checker, STIG Viewer, and eMASSter

Security Clearance:
