To be effective in this role, you must have a passion for technology and be able to learn our platform features and how customers use them effectively.  You will have a hands-on role in the design, configuration, testing of workflows, and validation of customer impact from new features, product updates, and configuration etc.

Key Responsibilities

    • Work directly with the CEO to develop and continually refine the product vision and strategy for the SimpliGov Workflow Automation Platform.
    • Maintain and communicate a prioritized roadmap that aligns with SimpliGov’s strategic objectives and customer needs.
  • Engage with Customers:
    • Build strong relationships with public sector customers to understand their challenges, capture new ideas, and prioritize feature requests.
    • Facilitate quarterly end-user events, fostering dialogue between users and SimpliGov’s product team.
  • Drive Product Development:
    • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to translate customer insights into actionable product features.
    • Lead cross-functional prioritization meetings to align product development efforts with business goals.
  • Measure Success:
    • Define, track, and report on key success metrics for the platform.
    • Leverage data insights and customer feedback to optimize platform performance and engagement.
  • Advocate for Customers:
    • Act as the internal voice of the customer, ensuring that product decisions reflect user needs.
    • Present and demonstrate SimpliGov’s solutions to stakeholders, including customers and internal teams.
  • Collaborate Across Teams:
    • Work closely with customer success, marketing, and sales to align product roadmap initiatives to company growth through the go-to-market strategies.
    • Lead product and feature launch initiatives to facilitate successful alignment of launch and commercial team activities to ensure new product introduction results in growth, customer adoption, customer retention, and high customer satisfaction.
    • Develop customer use cases that showcase the value of the platform and its impact on public sector workflows.

Position Requirements

  • Experience:
    • 4+ years of product management experience, including defining and launching successful products and/or features in multi-tenant SaaS platforms, ideally with a focus on enterprise or public sector solutions.

    • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, suited to fast-paced environments.
  • Technical Acumen:
    • Have a passion for technology, and a willingness to engage directly with SimpliGov’s no-code platform for designing and testing workflows.
