Position Summary
This position will facilitate access to and utilization of mental health services for youth and their families in both a telehealth and an outpatient setting within the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The position will be remote.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Completes intake assessments with patients referred to the CONNECT Program and others referred for psychotherapy services in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) for outpatient adolescent behavioral healthcare.
Provides screening and psychoeducation.
Triages patients into the appropriate program, provider, or provide referral to off campus providers.
Schedules psychotherapy and psychiatry services for patients as indicated.
Manages patient scheduling services to include collecting demographics and insurance registration.
Maintains accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
Provides follow-up communication as needed.
Tracks programmatic data and prepares outcome reports.
Attends team meetings and participates in training sessions as assigned.
Builds relationships with on-campus colleagues and community partners to ensure collaborative continuity for start of care.
Provides referrals to community services as needed.

More About This Job
- Equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in a health related field, such as social work, counseling, sociology, or psychology. Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in other fields may be considered with sufficient case management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with youth and families, particularly those experiencing trauma or mental health symptoms, and proficiency in trauma-informed, evidence-based practice interventions.
- Ability to engage with families from diverse racial and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Interest in contributing to clinical research and knowledge development.
- Familiarity with community resources in the Greater St. Louis Metropolitan Area.

Salary Range
$20.57 - $30.84 / Hourly
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
