Position Overview
The Slate Coach is responsible for working directly with enrollmentFUEL client-partners to implement Slate and/or improve their work within their Slate instance. This individual works closely with external client-partners to create solutions to ensure they are utilizing Slate effectively and efficiently, and they will use their customer service skills to drive client-partner retention and satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as Project Manager for assigned client contracts; oversee assigned projects as the primary client contact, alongside an Account Manager
- Define deliverables; implement and monitor the schedule for project milestones, development, and completion
- Promote a positive, solution-focused atmosphere that aligns with enrollmentFUEL’s core values
- Evaluate and develop responses to client questions and requests
- Ensure campaign promises are being met while delighting the client-partner
- Coordinate educational training sessions and strategic reviews with client-partners to embody enrollmentFUEL’s “teaching and learning” and “unrivaled guidance” philosophies
- Explore and identify upsell opportunities to fulfill the strategic initiatives of assigned client-partners
- Effectively build meaningful and personal relationships with client-partners to retain their loyalty; in coordination with the assigned Account Manager, work to execute a successful retention strategy
- Assist with creating policies and user manuals for enrollmentFUEL’s instance of Slate
- Attend the Slate Talk weekly collaboration meeting with the Slate team, as available
- Attend Technolutions webinars, trainings, and community conversations to remain a vibrant user and learner of the Slate platform
- Represent enrollmentFUEL in a professional manner
- Uphold the mission and core values of enrollmentFUEL
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in the CRM Slate; implementation experience preferred
- Strong oral, listening, and written communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and trust with partner institutions; ability to engage with cabinet-level college constituents and project team members
- Excellent organizational, analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Willingness to learn to use new technologies and tools
- Demonstrated experience, formally or informally, teaching, coaching, or leading professional training sessions
- Ability to teach new users the specific skills required to carry out their job duties
- Ability to work remotely in a fast-paced, changing environment; adaptability regarding new and changing processes and products; able to juggle multiple priorities at the same time
- Professional, friendly, and customer-service oriented; interpersonal skills including tact, patience, and courtesy
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

Physical Demands
- Visual and auditory acuity with speaking and hearing ability sufficient for headset/phone usage and conversations
- Manual dexterity sufficient for work on a computer
- Ability to stand or sit, in alternating fashion, for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, on occasion
- Ability to travel to work functions out-of-state, when needed
