The Locumsmart web-portal provides workflow automation, vendor management (VMS), and managed services provider (MSP) software for lowering costs, and increasing the efficiency of recruitment. Locumsmart is looking for a Scheduling Analyst to join our Customer Success/Support department. Scheduling Analysts manage the day-to-day interactions and progression of workflow between vendor and facility level contacts helping to ensure that we are providing positive experiences for all external members. The Scheduling Analysis team’s primary objective is to help facilities obtain the greatest amount of coverage requested to ensure continuity of care by opening scheduling needs, monitoring provider availability, consulting on potential gaps, and encouraging vigilant communication between site and vendor contacts. Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and prioritize, and a strong customer experience orientation are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Manage assigned facilities to help ensure maximum amount of coverage by auditing schedules and confirmed coverage to identify gaps and act as a consultant to collaborate on solutions with key stakeholders to fill identified gaps
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external and internal partners
Act as conduit between vendor and facility contacts as needed regarding potential issues, coverage changes, questions, etc.
Effectively communicate escalations to internal stakeholders
Follow created workflow processes to ensure accuracy and cleanliness of Locumsmart platform
Conduct user training and support for assigned facilities via live chat, video conference, and phone as needed
Facilitate calls and meetings
Propel all assigned workflow responsibilities forward and problem solve or escalate any delays
Creation of development tickets for any issues uncovered while following workflow processes
Qualifications:
Ability to work effectively in multiple technologies simultaneously
Capacity to work quickly, without sacrificing attention to detail or quality
Strong customer experience orientation
Effective communication, both verbal and written
Ability to block out distractions to follow outlined processes while prioritizing escalations as needed
Superior memory recall and ability to manage large amounts of data
Capability to learn and master new technologies
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Education and Years of Experience:
College level education or equivalent work experience
2 years of experience in healthcare staffing, VMS, or with a locum tenens vendor
Preferred:
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $51,700 -- $140,300 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
