Job description

About ICG
ICG is a global holding company focused on buying & building digital properties that power frictionless online shopping experiences.

Our portfolio includes leading affiliate marketing platforms like Stylight and MyBestBrands. Retailers and e-commerce brands typically allocate ad spend across numerous channels, with Meta and Google dominating the landscape. ICG aims to disrupt this space by acquiring and then growing smaller, higher-potential platforms, offering retailers a powerful alternative for growth.

As the fastest-growing performance marketing network across Europe and the US, we drive over $250 million in annual sales for more than 3,000 merchants. ICG has 15 owned-and-operated properties spanning 15 markets in 7 languages, and we are redefining how brands connect with high-intent shoppers worldwide.

About this Role

We’re looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to join our global Growth team with a focus on scalable, profitable user acquisition through paid media channels like Google/Meta/Microsoft/display. We deploy millions of euros of paid marketing spend per year, and in this role you'll work in a small, high-impact team that owns our user acquisition funnel and ensures that we are bringing in the right traffic/demand to match our supply of brands and products.

What You’ll Do

  • Campaign Management: you'll own paid marketing campaigns from start to finish, launching and optimizing across various platforms and markets. You'll focus on profitable user acquisition, working closely with a Country/Market Manager to ensure we are implementing the right strategies to acquire the right users.

    • you'll have a lot of independence/autonomy around how you work with your budget, spreading it across various channels and investing where you see fit. You'll have the opportunity to acquire users throughout the US, UK and Europe, driving traffic to both web and mobile platforms that we own.

  • Testing & Analytics: you'll dive deep into the data to understand what's happening and what can be optimized; you'll test, iterate, measure and analyze to ensure we're constantly adapting and evolving our approach to paid media.

About You

  • Performance Marketing Experience:

    • you have a proven track record of acquiring new users at scale through SEA/SEM, ideally in the ecommerce or B2C space

    • you are familiar with core channels like Google and Meta, and are interested in exploring new, experimental growth channels

    • you have experience across the full range of campaign management, from strategy to coordinating creative to writing copy and optimizing through data analysis

  • Ownership Mentality: You don’t wait to be told what to do. You see what needs to be done and take accountability, even for tasks that aren’t officially “yours.”

  • Startup Environment: You enjoy the challenge of working in a dynamic environment where things move fast and processes evolve quickly. You are okay with some things being very structured, and others being a little loose.

  • You are fluent in English and comfortable communicating primarily in English with team members around the world.

What We Can Offer You…

  • An opportunity to learn and grow more than you have in any of your previous roles! We are scaling quickly, and there's an incredible amount of work to be done on all fronts. We are a lean, scrappy team where everyone wears multiple hats and works closely together. You'll be able to work on projects and initiatives that interest you and expand your scope.

  • A flexible, remote/hybrid environment where you’ll have a lot of freedom and flexibility. We hire adults and treat them like adults.

  • 30 days of vacation per year, and the chance to work occasionally from our office in Split

  • The chance to have a meaningful impact on a business and see the results of your work.

What we can't offer you...

  • Perfect Work/Life Balance. Startups can be unpredictable — while we aim for balance, there will be times when evenings or weekends are necessary to keep things moving. We encourage you to manage your schedule and find ways to create balance that works for you.

  • A ton of people and resources. We operate lean and invest thoughtfully. This means you’ll need to get creative and wear multiple hats to get the job done — and we’re still figuring things out as we grow.

Our Process:

  1. Applications: we’ll review your application within 72 hours, and you’ll hear from us no matter what. We’re committed to transparency — if we need more time to decide, we’ll let you know. No ghosting.

  2. Interviews: you'll meet with Brett, Annie and Masha from our team, along with a few other colleagues. Our conversations will be a mix of behavioural questions, deep dives into your experience, and plenty of time for you to ask questions. Each session will last 30-60 minutes over Google Meet.

  3. Case Study: we’ll give you a real-world case study (compensated) to see how you think and approach a paid marketing problem. Afterward, we’ll have a working session to simulate what collaboration feels like at ICG.

  4. Offer: this is the fun part — we'll make an offer, and start getting ready for you to join us!

If you have any questions throughout the process, feel free to reach out to Brett. Thank you, and hopefully we talk soon!
