Who will you be joining? 

 

The Global Sourcing & Procurement division of Allianz is located as a service provider in Allianz Group. As part of Global Sourcing & Procurement, Procurement Development & Analytics is driving and transforming the global steering of all international procurement teams, especially focusing on Governance, Processes, Tools and Reporting.
 
Our mission is to lead best-in-class procurement by becoming increasingly data-driven and automated. We ensure with top strategies that the Allianz Business units have high-quality products and services, precisely when and where they are needed.

The key to doing this is to draw on the best skills, market knowledge and following continuous innovation bundled with harmonization and simplification. The close collaboration with local procurement teams around the globe and the business units rounds up this picture.

How can you make an impact? 

 

  • Collaborate closely with the Process Manager during the definition and execution phases of globally significant transformation projects and processes
  • Monitor and control project objectives to ensure successful outcomes
  • Analyze data, generate reports, and develop action plans based on insights gathered
  • Manage and take responsibility for small-scale projects independently
  • Simplify and support the automation of specific process steps to enhance efficiency
  • Create, revise, and update documents and information, including presentations, project plans, trainings and intranet content
  • Drive sourcing harmonization by developing category-specific processes and templates

 

What are you made of? 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

 

  • Studies in economics, (business) informatics, or similar
  • Very good command of written and spoken German and English
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially very good Excel skills to work with complex data
  • Good analytical skills
  • We can only consider your application if you provide the following documents:
    • Certificate of enrolment (exception gap year)

    • Valid Work and residence permit (for non-EU citizens). Please check before applying if you can work with your current VISA

  • Previous experience in business related functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital/ Tech etc.) is a plus

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience from another internship or as working student is appreciated but not needed
  • Proficiency to communicate own ideas and take responsibility for their realisation
  • Independent and proactive working style
  • Team orientation and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
