Job description

We are looking for a talented Node.js Developer to help enhance the performance of our client’s web-based applications. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side network components, ensuring database responsiveness, and collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements. You will work on building secure and scalable back-end services, optimising server performance, and contributing to the development of high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain server-side components, ensuring efficient and secure data exchange between servers and users.
Ensure the performance and responsiveness of the central database to support front-end requests.
Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Design customer-facing user interfaces and back-end services for business processes.
Write reusable, efficient, and testable code to develop high-performance applications.
Implement security protocols, data protection measures, and robust storage solutions to ensure data integrity.
Run diagnostic tests, address defects, and provide ongoing technical support.
Document Node.js processes, database schemas, and prepare technical reports for stakeholders.
Recommend and implement improvements to processes, technologies, and overall system performance.
Keep informed of advancements in Node.js development and related technologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

Hands-on knowledge of Playwright and browser automation.
Extensive experience with JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
