Senior Financial Analyst
This is a remote position available to candidates based in the United States.

The Work
The FP&A team at Lexipol is a trusted business partner to senior leadership, working closely with business partners to align financial goals with strategic objectives. The team drives financial performance, enables data-driven decision-making, and fosters collaboration to maximize the impact of the company’s mission. The team manages core financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning, while supporting strategic initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, and new market entries. By delivering actionable insights and facilitating transparency across departments, the FP&A team plays a critical role in making Lexipol more effective every day.


The Senior Financial Analyst will be an integral part of our FP&A team, reporting directly to the Director of FP&A. This is a high-impact role offering direct exposure to private equity and senior leadership, with opportunities for mentorship from the CFO and a clear pathway to Manager-level responsibilities. Your financial insights will directly shape our strategic decisions, ensuring we stay at the forefront of empowering first responders and public servants.

What You’ll Do:

Financial Planning and Budgeting (60%)
  • Execute core FP&A processes for all product lines, building models and long-term performance projections.
  • Create detailed budgets and forecasts, exploring “what if” scenarios for revenue, pricing, and expenses.
  • Develop presentations and materials for internal and external stakeholders, supporting key financial decisions.
  • Lead performance analyses against budgets and forecasts, offering root cause explanations and actionable insights.

Business Partnership (30%)
  • Collaborate directly with executives and their leadership teams to bridge operational activities with central finance.
  • Enhance department-level planning and profitability analysis, empowering leaders to maximize enterprise value.
  • Educate teams across the organization on core financial concepts and the enterprise impact of departmental activities.
  • Perform ROI analyses for Capex, staff additions, restructuring, and optimization initiatives.

Private Equity and Capital Markets (10%)
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and KPIs for the PE sponsor.
  • Support the Director of FP&A in monthly financial results calls.
  • Manage quarterly debt covenant packages and coordinate lender calls.

What You’ll Bring to the Team
Requirements:  To be considered for this role, you will have this experience:
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive FP&A experience.
  • Extensive financial, quantitative, and analytical skills, with hands-on experience in finance or accounting.
  • Proven ability to build and manage financial models for short, medium, and long-term projections.
  • Strong business strategy development, communication, and management skills.
  • Experience in venture or private equity-backed businesses and/or investment banking is highly valued.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with data manipulation.
  • A mindset of continuous improvement, ownership, and mentorship.
  • Confident and professional communication and presentation skills, comfortable with senior executive audiences.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-change environment.

Preferred Experience:
  • Familiarity with financial planning tools like Drivetrain, Mosaic, Pigment, Planful, or Vena.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • MBA or other advanced certifications (e.g., CFA).

Compensation and Benefits
Lexipol offers a competitive base salary, monthly, quarterly, or annual incentive and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with Company match and a flexible paid time off plan.

Compensation for this role is a base salary of $100,000 plus an annual bonus opportunity.
