Job description

FocusKPI is looking for a Principal Product Marketing Manager to join the Enterprise, Migrations, and Platform Product Marketing team, in one of our clients, a high-tech, SaaS company. 

The main function of marketing manager/Principal Product Marketing Manager  is to run marketing activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans; implementing sales plans and managing marketing staff.

Work Location: Remote - anywhere in the US
Duration: 6 months contract with potential for extension depending on your performance
Pay Range: $80/hr to $94/hr

Responsibilities:
  • This is a product marketing manager role. This person is responsible for owning and running individual campaigns as part of existing product and GTM strategies across channels, partnering with product management, demand generation, creative, sales, sales enablement and other marketing support teams.
  • Build and maintain relationships with core PM counterparts, create GTM launch plans for product releases and execute, analyze performance and make strategic recommendations based on data for how to proceed.
  • Create sales enablement artifacts (battlecards, sales plays) and customer-facing collateral (web pages, pitch decks, blogs).
  • Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
  • Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development.
  • Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, or journalism
  • 6+ years experience (7-10 years with a minimum of 4+ of product marketing experience)
  • Experience with enterprise product marketing is must to have
  • Marketing strategy and execution - experience developing strategies to bring new products or features to market, thinking through the end to end experience for customers, and executing these plans from inception to completion to high quality bar and on time
  • Experience with enterprise IT audience and B2B SaaS business
  • Project Management - marketing campaigns can be complex. This role requires the ability to clearly document, organize projects, track progress, provide relevant updates, and manage timelines to ensure deadlines are met
  • Data-driven marketer who is adept at analyzing historic performance, setting campaign goals, and monitoring; someone who seeks appropriate data to make decisions and finds proxy indicators when
    ideal data is not available
  • Able to work with the applications like zoom, slack, Gsuite, and Confluence & Jira
  • Required to have the familiarity with key enterprise trust concepts/ cloud platform capabilities (security, compliance, scale, analytics, administration, performance, etc.)
  • Experience with verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills, interpersonal skills and stakeholder management 
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time
  • Ability to keep information organized and confidential (Need someone detail-oriented and organized)
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Google Suite, Slack, Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira)
