Supply Chain Repair Planner
Description -
Job specifics/responsibilities:
Planning activity for a specific portfolio:
- DMD Forecasting: Maintain part availability to support customer needs: Calculate the needs for spare parts (or Whole Unit Exchange), place appropriate supplier Purchase Orders and monitor the planned deliveries from suppliers.
- End-to-End Planning: Maintain part availability to support customer needs: Calculate the needs for spare parts (or Whole Unit Exchange), place appropriate supplier Purchase Orders and monitor the planned deliveries from suppliers. Maximize Repair vs New Buy supply flow.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory in EMEA Network (Central warehouse, VHUBs, CHUBs) by defining inventory target for all EMEA locations.
- Lifecycle Management: Work on problems of diverse complexity and scope (New Product Intro, Life-Time Buys, Rolls, Upgrades, others)
- Customer Delivery Performance: Report planning performance of the products assigned; timely spot deviations and launch effective mitigation plan
- Perform monthly, weekly & daily planning activities for the products assigned to drive the key deliverables.
- Actively participate on meetings with other members of the team.
Finance/Cost and TCE accountability:
- Manage Good Inventory Scrap costs (Excess & Obsolescence) –
- Minimize Planning-driven costs (Inbound, exception, airfreight, rebalancing, reverse)
- Share best practices among the team thru active participation in performance reviews or team meetings.
- Develop Finance / Cost acumen linked to planning activity, understand the cost impacts and balance with TCE expected results; capture the committed costs in respective trackers (Non Prod PO, Air Freight, …)
- Bring creative ideas to improve Cost and/or TCE Develop data analysis capability in order to prioritize actions that will strongly influence results.
Repair Operations Management :
- Repair Forecast Management:
- provide regular and accurate monthly forecasts, including long-term (end-of-life) volume projections
- communicate on production priorities based on projected backlog; manage planning metrics and ensure corrective actions in case of deviation.
- Defective Management:
- provide monthly defective projections to Repair Vendor
- optimize and prioritize defective flow sourcing to enable more efficient defective inventory cost
- switch on/off defective collection decision
- monitor Defective return rate % – spot deviations and elevate contributors
- ensure monthly MPTV adjustments to limit impact on P&L
- Cost Management:
- Validate “Repair flag” with Finance
- Manage Inventory Scrap costs (Excess & Obsolescence) – for Good and Defective inventory
- Support for material liability minimization trough timely providing an accurate Repair forecast (short-term and EOL)
- Minimize Planning-driven costs (Inbound, exception, airfreight, rebalancing, reverse)
- Repair Planning – KPI management:
- Maximize Repair Planning KPIs – Repair Ratio %, Forecast Accuracy, BO (Back Order) and LOA (level of Availability), Inventory – Good Inventory vs Business target and Defective Inventory – vs Baseline.
- Analyze accuracy deviations on Repair metrics and elevate contributors – Defective return rate %, Repair Efficiency %, Production Scrap Rate %
Key deliverables/accountabilities:
- Inventory: Gross inventory
- Operational: Material availability & delivery performance (GLOS, LOF, LOA), Backlog included aged backlog
- Finance: Portfolio cost optimization (Inbound, exception, airfreight, rebalancing, reverse ...)
- Meet commitments

- Process quality and accuracy
Education (degree) and professional experience required:
- High School /Bachelor/Master degree
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Planning or Supply Chain similar functions
Other requirements:
- Fluent in English language
- Partner management experience is a plus
