About the role
The Regional Delivery Partner Manager role provides critical leadership overseeing the compliance activities associated with the identification, on boarding, administrative management of Subcontractor Delivery Partners. With a large territory encompassing WA, SA & NT this role will work hand in hand with the Operations teams across all business units to safeguard service and maintain the integrity across compliance and governance.
With over 500 Delivery Partners across the TGE business units, our Subcontractor cohort is made up of - Owner/Drivers, Fleet and Agents. Each unique and critical to the TGE business and customer base.
Working with Functional and Divisional operational teams across the WA, SA & NT TGE network, this position is pivotal. Enforcing TGE compliance standards, delivering commercial efficiencies, service reliability, and fostering meaningful relationships with Delivery Partners to reinforce TGE safety, build a cohesive culture and influence service delivery.
What You`ll do
Ensure all Subcontractors engaged to perform work for and behalf of Team Global Express have TGE Agreement in place encompassing detailed scope, fleet and capability evidence. 100% compliance requirement.
Review and assess commercial arrangements/cost to service for Subcontractor work
Review assess and advise on requests for increase (review commercial proposals against operations scope) and deliver recommendations to business.
Challenge the status-quo on service arrangements and price - be unafraid and uncompromising on Safety.
Manage the registration and compliance status of all TGE Delivery Partners using the relevant compliance platform (Avetta, ComplianceHub)
Maintain and assure compliance activity through regular cadence of investigation, interview and audit. (TGE Assurance Program)
Work collaboratively with TGE Operational business units – to build and sustain productive, business partnerships for long term business success.
Apply a risk lens to the engagement and management of Delivery Partners – ensuring at all times the safety of team, customer and business.
What You’ll Bring
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Transport or 3PL environment and or similar industry
The ability to use your work and life experience to adopt to a new work environment
Understanding of National Heavy Vehicle Road compliance & regulatory requirements
Ability to take a holistic business approach and work collectively across all facets of a business
Proven problem-solving ability with a solutions orientation
The ability and the drive to work with limited direction across operations and compliance
Commercial acumen, Safety and incident investigation experience
Compliance and Contract governance knowledge is essential
