Job Summary: Strategizes, manages, and delivers the editorial content for Custom Builder; manages the strategy and deliver of products coverage and the annual Most Valuable Products Awards program for Pro Builder; co-manages (with the Editorial Director) an associate editor serving both brands.
Essential Job Functions:
- Strategizing, managing, and delivering content for Custom Builder
- Managing the strategy and delivery of Products coverage in Pro Builder
- Managing the annual Most Valuable Products Awards for Pro Builder
- Co-managing (with the Editorial Director) an associate editor serving both brands
- Participating in the planning and execution of the annual Women’s conference
- Attending and participating in industry events
Core Competencies:
- Strong and proven interpersonal communication and management abilities in an editorial/media setting
- Excellent research/interviewing, writing, and editing skills
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and deadlines
- Proficiency in MS365 suite, Adobe products, video and podcast production
- Understanding of and proficiency with SEO best practices and some HTML experience
- Four-year college degree in journalism (English or related field)
- 5+ years editorial/media experience, preferably in magazine editorial, print and digital environment
- Prior managerial experience preferred
- Experience with SEMrush SEO tools preferred
This is a supervisory position.
Some travel required.
We are excited to share that his position will be hourly, or non-exempt, and the base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $80,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed.
If you are hired for this position at Endeavor, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as hiring location, skillset, prior years’ experience, relevant education, certain degrees and certifications, training, and market considerations. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth.
