Job Summary: Account executives play a crucial role in the fiscal health of the entire Endeavor organization and specifically, to their dividsion/department. They are responsible for maintaining and growing existing accounts while actively seeking new revenue streams.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Identify opportunities for breaking new business & renewing past client partnerships using data and insights from current or past campaigns.
  • Lead account conversations with key internal partners to evaluate account performance, develop short and long-term strategies and discuss/act upon optimization opportunities.
  • Fully understand and promote all products and services offered.
  • Know your competitor’s products and the differentiating factors.
  • Create integrated marketing proposals for clients.
  • Conduct ongoing needs analysis for all current accounts.
  • Continually improve and develop your sales skills. Fully participate in all sales training.
  • Visit client/agencies and major prospects regularly. Attend industry events. Independently plan business trips within travel budget, quarterly
  • Continuously prospect- with minimum standards set by your manager.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts utilizing the CRM and sales support.
  • Keep on top of sales territory market share. Specifically, know why it’s up or down, overall and by account. Share best practices across your market, group, and parent company.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and prospects via in-person or virtual meetings to present opportunities and make recommendations in a consultative manner. Must be confident in pitching new ideas in front of different stakeholders and/or clients.
  • Continually seek out new sources of revenue, via competitor websites and pubs, trade shows, etc.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and sales related activities and contacts in CRM.
  • Review and present client metrics reports.


Core Competencies:

  • Proven track record in closing sales through business development and superior negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, including presentation skills, especially in a multi-platform environment.
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with other departments including sales support, editorial, production and marketing.
  • Hunter mentality.
  • High-tech industry knowledge a strong plus.
  • Ability to operate with a sense of urgency and values accountability.
  • Motivated by small, medium, and large contract wins.


Qualifications:

  • Qualified candidates must possess an excellent understanding of digital media and marketing solutions.
  • Ability to be proactive, take ownership, and work independently.
  • Impeccable communication and relationship-management skills, across both internal and external constituencies.
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with client/agency contact to gain deeper insights into business objectives and recommend solutions to meet their business and advertising needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as proficiency in CRM system and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent organization, forecasting and follow-through techniques required.
  • Cold call, email and use professional social media platforms to connect with our audience
  • Work the full sales process from inception to close
  • Track sales process and KPIs, optimizing the sales process and tactics
  • Manage post event relationship with clients to scale partnership
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years of successful media sales experience, preferably in electronics engineering or high-tech


We are excited to share the OTE for this position is $80,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This OTE is made up of a target base salary range of $40,000 - $50,000 and commission target of $30,000. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed.


If you are hired for this position at Endeavor, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as hiring location, skillset, prior years’ experience, relevant education, certain degrees and certifications, training, and market considerations. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth.
