What You Can Expect
The Medical Education Sr Coordinator is responsible for processing surgeon-to-surgeon visitation requests and planning the accompanying educational experiences. This person will be responsible for executing the strategy, surgeon and site validation, onboarding, educational experience execution, and making continual improvement to the strategy and program based upon feedback.
How You'll Create Impact
Travels to potential visitation sites to validate based upon analyzing needs and surgeon demand, utilizing objective criteria. Sources local accommodations for visitors to ensure consistency in the experiences.
Builds relationships with host surgeons, sites, and commercial team members.
Conducts discovery with commercial team on existing and potential sites, based upon needs and surgeon educational demands.
Makes data-driven recommendations for adding sites based upon needs/educational demand. Makes recommendations for removing sites based upon needs, observations, and attendee feedback.
Onboards sites and surgeons to the program, driving alignment on: expectations, roles and responsibilities, compensation, feedback mechanism to promote continual program improvement, and operational logistics.
Launches new S2S sites by observing first visitations. Ensures program quality and consistency are maintained and expectations are clearly aligned.
Maintains surgeon and site database, ensuring data is accurate and software functions properly. This includes adding/removing surgeons and/or sites, updating product experience and surgeon profile, and any other pertinent information
Owns processing of all visitation requests, including matching requests to compliant site options, securing logistics to support the request, and driving clear communication between visitors and hosts.
Develops site visitation profiles, agendas, communications deployed pre and post visitation, and other pertinent supporting materials
Conducts quarterly audits/site visitations to ensure consistency and quality of program are maintained. Ensures sites are meeting expectations based upon personal observations using objective criteria and rubric and attendee feedback. Solicits feedback for continual program improvement. Updates database on faculty surgeon and site to confirm accuracy of information.
Manages and completes all administrative tasks to support the visitation, such as making reservations, processing Engagement Orders (EOs), completing expense reports, and conducting debriefs with sites and surgeons
Provides exceptional service and support for surgeons and surgeon consultants
Processes issues in conjunction with Zimmer’s Global Products Group, Compliance Office and Legal Department requiring special intervention and analysis

Education/Experience Requirements
5+ years of customer service experience
Medical device sales experience in orthopedics (preferred)
Travel Expectations
Up to 70%
