Job Summary

The Sales Analytics Manager plays a critical role in supporting the development and execution of data-driven sales strategies to drive growth and optimize the effectiveness of the sales team. This position leverages data insights, reporting, and analytics to guide decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement. 

What You Will Do As A Sales Analytics Manager

  • Analyze and design optimal sales territory structures to ensure balanced workloads and equitable opportunities for the sales team. 
  • Evaluate territory performance and recommend adjustments to improve efficiency and coverage. 
  • Develop and refine agency segmentation frameworks to classify and prioritize agencies based on performance, potential, and opportunity. 
  • Conduct effectiveness reviews of segmentation strategies, providing actionable insights to enhance results. 
  • Create actionable insights through sophisticated reporting, including operational scorecards and standardized evaluations of sales team effectiveness. 
  • Develop automated agency alerts that signal performance shifts, lapses in production, and follow-up opportunities. 
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to the sales team for consult prioritization, tailored support, and targeted solutions. 
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide a clear view of sales performance, territory activity, and key metrics. 
  • Create real-time visibility into agency engagement, sales activity, and overall health of business. 
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and data/IT teams to refine data quality and tools. 
  • Deliver insights on sales trends, market opportunities, and agency productivity to agency prioritization and strategic planning. 
  • Use advanced analytics to identify patterns, risks, and growth opportunities within agency distribution. 
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to translate data-driven insights into actionable sales strategies and initiatives. 
  • Participate in annual planning processes by providing data and analysis to inform goals and resource allocation. 
  • Manage 1 contractor direct report.

  

What You Will Bring As A Sales Analytics Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, a related field (Master’s preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, or a related role, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry. 
  • Industry Expertise: Must have experience in the insurance industry
  • Strong proficiency with analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent. 
  • Framework Development: Must be capable of either enhancing existing frameworks or designing new ones from scratch
  • Ability to work with data from disparate sources, legacy and new.
  • Strong understanding of sales territory design and agency segmentation strategies. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations. 
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and a strong attention to detail. 
  • Knowledge of insurance products, distribution channels, and market dynamics is a plus.

What You Will Get As A Porch Group Team Member 

Pay Range*: $106,500 - $149,100

*Please know your actual pay at Porch will reflect a number of factors among which are your work experience and skillsets, job-related knowledge, alignment with market and our Porch employees, as well as your geographic location.  

Additionally, you will be eligible to receive long-term incentive awards, subject to program guidelines and approvals.
