More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Regional Specification Sales Manager in Canada with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.

As the Regional Specification Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the growth of Cooper Lighting Solutions’ Architectural and Specification brands and products that include (but not limited to)  Ametrix, io, Halo Commercial, Portfolio, Corelite, Neoray, Metalux, Failsafe, McGraw Edison, Invue, Shaper, and Prentalux.

  • Work with top manufacturer agents and product managers in the lighting industry to promote innovative products from well-known brands.

  • Play a crucial role in bringing these products to market in your region by collaborating with Cooper Lighting Solutions product teams and agents.

  • Collaborate with a talented group of regional sales managers and gain connections and knowledge through external organizations like IES, IALD LIRC, AIA, USGBC, and IWBI.

  • Travel throughout Canada to support the independent manufacturing agents, educate and motivate the agent network to lead with all Cooper brands and effectively drive preference and specifications.

  • Work closely with a diverse and dedicated team of manufacturing sales agents to drive sales for Cooper Lighting Solutions specification brands.

  • Identify new lighting product ideas and applications and support the prioritization of new product development.-

  • Report out to senior leadership on key performance metrics and build relationships with key specifiers and agents to help solve their most complex lighting challenges.

  • Excellent presentation skills and enjoys being in front of an audience.

  • Good with managing and measuring sales and other analytical data.
