Job Responsibilities

Preparation of month-end accounts in line with reporting deadlines, including revenue recognition of deferred revenue;
Monthly billing/invoicing to customers and issuing bills directly to customers;
Monthly accounts payable cycle, including invoicing processing and queuing up of payments in the banking system.
Month-end manual journals, including payroll for the AU, US and EUR regions
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller about the financial health of the business;
Assisting with financial funding and grant applications on behalf of our business;
Providing detailed analysis on business performance, including cash flow.
Recommend financial actions by analysing accounting options;
Assisting with periodic financial audits and ensuring there are no audit issues;
Perform the role of Procurement Officer to ensure that purchased product conforms to specified purchasing information;
Assisting with the annual insurance review and renewal process, and liaising with insurance brokers;
Recommending and Improving systems and procedures and initiate corrective action;
Arranging staff and creditor payments;
Reviewing preparation and lodgement of Australian Payroll Tax and BAS;

Ad hoc accounting duties when required by the Group Financial Controller.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce or relevant qualifications

Experience

5 years’ experience in accounting role is required;
In depth experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook).

Demonstrated ability to function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team under significant pressure and meeting hard deadlines;

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex projects and multi-task;
A strong team member with an ability to work across multiple teams;
Highly developed interpersonal skills; Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal including being confident in liaising with people of all levels (internal and external);
Be able to work independently and within a team environment.

6AM - 3PM PH, Monday to Friday
