Job description

NetCom Learning is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Corporate Finance to play a pivotal role in driving our M&A initiatives, managing funding efforts, and contributing to the long-term growth and success of the organization. This position is based in the USA and offers a clear progression path to assist the Chief Financial Officer in listing us at Nasdaq.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance, M&A, and funding and the leadership potential to step into an executive role. This individual will work closely with the CEO and CFO to execute strategic initiatives and develop the skills required to oversee the organization’s financial health in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
  • Identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Lead financial modeling, due diligence, and deal structuring processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of acquired companies.
  • Funding & Investor Relations:
  • Develop and execute strategies to secure funding through equity, debt, or strategic partnerships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions.
  • Prepare and present funding proposals, financial projections, and business plans.
  • Financial Strategy & Planning:
  • Support the CFO in managing P&L, cash flow, and financial forecasting.
  • Develop detailed financial models and provide actionable insights to drive growth and profitability.
  • Analyze financial performance and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Leadership Development & Succession:
  • Shadow the CFO to gain exposure to high-level decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Gradually take ownership of key responsibilities, including team leadership, P&L management, and investor relations as assigned by CFO.
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team to support future growth.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Collaborate with business leaders to align financial goals with operational strategies.
  • Streamline financial processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Leverage technology and data analytics to enhance decision-making and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Education: MBA in Finance or equivalent advanced degree preferred; CPA/CFA certification is a strong plus.

Experience

  • 7–10 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A, private equity, or investment banking.
  • Proven track record of leading financial analysis, deal execution, and funding initiatives.
