What You'll Do
The Property Tax teams at Avalara are looking for a talented, highly motivated
Senior Implementation Specialist to join our team! This professional will play a key role in providing high quality implementation services to our clients. While being responsible for analyzing client data for translation into the format needed for our solutions. Assisting the Implementation Manager with day-to-day support for clients and investigating new software features using feedback gathered during the implementation processes.
What Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Interact with newly contracted customers to gain understanding of their data files, then format as needed for software implementation
- Identify implementation challenges and provide recommendations for solutions
- Gather customer feedback to identify and document gaps in software functionality
- Work closely with the Implementation Manager to resolve gaps in software functionality
- Assist with documentation needed for clients on implementation processes
What You'll Need to be Successful
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in property tax
- Prior software implementation experience is required
- Excellent knowledge of Excel (VLookups, Pivot Tables experience required)
- Strong organizational and analytical skills (sifting through client data and organize to import into our Software)
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability in independent functioning
- Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and environment
- Experience working with tax software
- Excellent time and project management
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in property tax
