The Product Management team leads the strategic direction, planning, and order generation for Varian’s various radiation therapy products. We are looking for a Product Manager to join our team. The Product Manager will work with finance, engineering, manufacturing, and other key functions to drive efficiency across the product portfolio. They will report to executives regularly, providing comprehensive analytics and efficiency target proposals.
What You Will Do
- Drive business strategies to improve product line margins
- Develop comprehensive LINAC cost model to identify and drive improvements across the value stream
- Act as a key partner to service, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and finance
- Propose cost targets across entire product lifecycle, including point of sale and ongoing service
- Define and communicate device cost breakdown using established industry and Siemens Healthineers criteria
- Identify problem statements and drive changes using Healthineers’ Structured Problem Solving methodology
- Establish customer Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for a linear accelerator end provide analysis and report outs at regular cadence
- Project manage various product related projects to ensure timely completion
- Willing to travel 15-20% of the time
What You Will Have
- Understands technical complexities of large medical devices
- Management experience in an international environment and strong interpersonal skills
- High level of analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel
- Proven track record of leadership and presentation skills; track record of driving cross-organizational teams
- Strong EQ and ability to work cross-functionally, bringing leaders together to achieve goals
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with advanced proficiency in PowerPoint
- Ability to prioritize effectively
- Team player who has willingness to undertake opportunities to support team members and improve overall effectiveness
- Able to create a bridge between business and finance and analyze impacts of actions to financials from a business view
- MBA desired
- Undergrad education in engineering or sciences preferred
- 5-10 years of leading large teams with or without direct organizational structure

The base pay range for this position is
Min $133,900 - Max $200,900
Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
