Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Location:
Remote (PST Time zone)
Salary Range:
up to 2300 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (PST)

Position Overview:

The Payroll Specialist will be the first point of contact for customers utilizing the iSolved People Cloud software. This role requires building strong client relationships, managing tickets, processing payrolls, resolving service issues, and becoming proficient in the iSolved platform through self-directed learning and training resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payrolls, assist with service configurations, and solve customer issues using the iSolved platform.
  • Build and maintain personal relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Utilize Monday.com for project and ticket management.
  • Provide excellent customer service and handle queries via Dialpad VoIP.
  • Manage and track time with TimeDoctor.
  • Perform data analysis and reporting using advanced Excel skills.
  • Complete extensive iSolved University courses and other training to enhance platform knowledge.
  • Work under strict deadlines to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in payroll, customer service, or financial operations.
  • Familiarity with payroll/HCM solutions such as iSolved (preferred), Paylocity, Paycor, ADP, PayChex, or WorkDay.
  • Basic knowledge of US payroll regulations and practices.
  • Proficiency with Excel, including advanced functions.
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-directed, eager to learn, and proactive in solving problems.


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience managing time-sensitive tasks.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Monday.com.
  • Strong aptitude for learning new software and systems quickly.
