About the Role
The Event Marketing Manager at Canary will be responsible for identifying, planning and executing events that will grow Canary’s brand and presence, with a primary focus in EMEA and APAC.
This role involves both strategizing and managing events across different geos, and iterating on campaigns to engage customers and prospects before, during and after the event.
ResponsibilitiesLead event strategy for EMEA and APACHelp drive demand generation goals by creating events that will drive leads and build pipelineBuild project plans for events and workstreamsCoordinate with third parties, including the event managers, contractors, etc.Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and ProductSupport the team to exceed program targets including registration/attendance, engagement, customer growth, new business pipelineExecute event logistics, including pre- and post-event marketing and coordinationUse best in class program technology, materials, systems, marketing, and event targeting to take each event to the next levelQualifications3+ years of event marketing experience (Driving demand to event programs at a B2B tech company is a plus)Previous experience organizing events across different countriesBA/BS, ideally in marketing, communications, PR, or other related fieldExcellent written and verbal communication skills with English proficiency (Fluency in a second language is a bonus)Detail oriented & organized with strong project management skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with agreed-upon timelinesExperience with Google Suite, Excel, and related technology systemsProactive self-starterAbility to travel up to 20%We also work hard to ensure Canary is a fun and exciting place to work.
